War Horse Memorial, Romsey
A wonderful sculpture, by Amy Goodman, of a WW1 soldier and his horse; erected to commemorate the horses trained in the local area.
Steps too Far?
An image I believe works best in monochrome. This one taken on the north embankment of the River Thames, London.
Damse Vaart, Brugge
A beautiful deep blue sky behind these trees but I think the monochrome conversion is much more impactful. The canal, Damse Vaart, dates from Napoleonic times I'm told.
